Davids Bridal

I purchased my wedding dress and all four bridesmaid outfits from Davids Bridal. They did a great job, the first seamstress I had was very personable and did great, the second not so much, but overall I am very happy with their service and their product!

My bridesmaids and I had a terrible experience with this store...I don't even know where to begin! Three of our dresses were at the store 2 weeks or more before they even called to let us know they were ready which resulted in 2 that could not be altered in time! This was 10 days before my wedding day, and I waa a mess! After talking to the manager, she informed me it was not my problem until I contacted the corporate office!! 20 minutes afterhanging up with her, the not-so compassionate manager called back to let me know they would order new dresses and have the rush shipped to the store and would be ready in 3 days! I loved my dresses but the experience with this store was terrible!!

I had no problems with Davids Bridal here in Lafayette, IN. All the ladies were very helpful and friendly. I kept going back and forth between two dresses. I really liked one and my family really liked the other. The consultant kept reminding me that in the end it was my wedding and that I should be happy with what i chose because it only happens once. I was thankful for her input.

the seamstress' were all wonderful and did incredible considering I dropped 4 dress sizes from when I bought the dress!

The bridal shop required an appointment to try on bridal gowns which was fine but in the midst of everything my consultant was switched on me and it felt like wearing two different styles of gloves. They were professional but my consultant had more than one bride in the store at a time so my mom did most of the consultants work. I tried on 20 dresses, the first and last one were the same. The dress was beautiful and a great buy for the value. I didn't get the alterations done at the shop though because of the expense. Everyone was very nice.

Wonderful women to work with. Manager is extremely helpful. A couple of my bridesmaids dresses and flower girl dresses were on back order and looked like they wouldn't be in until after the wedding. The manager stepped right in and fixed it so that my dresses were here. :-) Seamstress did a fabulous job as well!

I was just disappointed with the plus size selection.

Tess was very helpful. My bridesmaids each had the same skirt, and I chose the color. They chose their own tops. It was helpful that David's is a chain because all of my girls were all over the country at the time.
