You can walk into a wedding which is designed by Detail + Design and just know it. Not because there is a similarity in the product, but rather there is a similarity in the quality. Details are taken care of, things are creatively and beautifully handled and the bride and her guests have nothing left to do then enjoy the party. I've never not seen a design I have not been in love with and have been fascinated as to "where do they come up with this stuff" but they do...again and again and again. We brought Detail + Design in with about five months to go before our wedding after another planner had dropped the ball in almost every way imaginable. In just a few short months Detail + Design made a wedding that we thought we might just barely pull off, the most incredible, beautiful and amazing day of our lives. Everything was perfect and the best part was that we got to enjoy every part of the day and didn't worry about a single detail!!

Hiring Detail + Design was the best thing to happen to our wedding. Throughout the entire process, I always felt like I was their only bride and they were completely devoted to making my day the best it could possibly be. Every time we met over lunch or chatted on the phone, it was a fun, collaborative planning process. I never once worried about the big day, knowing that our wedding would be beautifully perfect. In a nutshell, we think the world of Detail + Design. My wife and I were all over the map with ideas for our September wedding. Monica, Gene and the D+D team gave our wedding focus, listened to our ideas and worked closely with us to give us the unique and relaxed wedding we wanted, which included working with vendors and the location to insure that our most special guest (our pug) was allowed entry. There are not enough great things I can say about them - they are attentive, efficient, and they possess the know-how to get things done in a pinch. Gene took one afternoon with my wife to listen to her thoughts re design and immediately understood and envisioned what we wanted and then delivered on it. It was stunning. Monica works closely with the couple, provides ideas and vendor recommendations, and acts as the liaison with those vendors so you don't have to. On the day of the wedding she literally has every detail mapped out, so that you and yours can enjoy your day. Both my wife and I can honestly say that D+D gave us the exact wedding we wanted and we are forever thankful for them.

My wedding was amazing! I planned it from Chicago and only needed to make 2 trips to Indy before the wedding, but I knew everything was under control with Detail + Design taking care of every detail. The day was beautiful and beyond my expectations. THANK YOU!

The team at Detail and Design did an absolutely amazing job for our wedding. Our wedding took place in Lexington, Ky which was about a three hour drive from Indianapolis. My Mom was worried because she wanted to use a local planner. I told her that I trusted Monica, Gene, and the rest of the team at Detail and Design to provide the most spectacular wedding imagainable - and that is just what they did. We wanted a laid back but chic feel to our wedding and that is just what we got. We had custom polka dot table linens made exclusivley for us - and that was only achieved through Gene's relationship with the linen company. We had mini milkshakes and hamburgers served towards the end of the night that coordinated with with our colors, pink and green. We even had custom cookies made with a horsehoe logo to tie in with our horse farm. Every little detail was taken care of and needless to say we didn't have to worry about a thing. My Mom was so happy that we used Detail and Design and told me we could not have picked a better company. Our wedding day was the most amazing and carefree day of our life and it was all because of Detail and Design.
