I highly recommend Kim to any bride looking for a warm, caring, money-savvy, professional and expert consultant to help her plan a wedding that fits her personality and her budget. Since I live in LA, I hired Kim while I was in Indy for my sister's wedding and worked with her to book all my major vendors in just 3 days 6 months before our wedding date. There is no way I could have planned my wedding in that short amount of time and got my money's worth without Kim. When I got engaged, I didn't think I was going to hire a planner but after seeing many of my friends deal with not-so-great day-of coordinators, I decided to hire a professional. A wedding is a major investment so I knew that I wanted someone with expertise helping me create the wedding I wanted and stay within my budget. Thanks to Kim putting me in touch with the right vendors, my wedding ended up being $5000 under budget. Now for the actual day of the wedding... I don't know how I would have done it without Kim and her fabulous team. They helped with everything behind the scenes on the Big Day: from vacuuming the carpet of the church after we tracked in mud following our outdoor photos to organizing all my favors in a beautiful arrangement at the reception hall... they did it all! Even though I had 8 bridesmaids and a mom, it was great to have Kim and her assistants there to help with all the little things that someone who is in the wedding party can't do. My wedding was more than I hoped for! It was just a really, really FUN day that my fiance and I completely enjoyed. And we were able to relax that day because we knew that Kim and her team of pros had it more than covered! I think of Kim as my "wedding mom"... but don't tell my mom I said that! :)

Kim King Smith referred us to the bride and the groom to handle the catering. Kim was the planner. She did a great job with the planning and definitely made our life easier. We have worked with her many times in the past and everything has gone very well. She is very organized and definitely pays attention to all the details.

By hiring Kim and her "girls" my daughter and I are still speaking after putting on a wedding in Indianapolis. Her father and I live in Atlanta and she works full time in Indianapolis. Kim was always available via e-mail and she and Leslie met weekly. She provided just the right amount of hand holding and was indespensible the day of the wedding. I didn't worry about a thing, and I know there were probably issues that came up but we never saw or heard any of them, and neither did our guests.
