Sunny Moon Great DJ Entertainment

We had a GREAT experience with Sunny. I was a little unsure about hiring a DJ to begin with because of the cost involved and the fact that we had multiple ipods full of dance-able music. However, in hindsight I am SO INCREDIBLY glad we hired a dj…it made the day way less stressful. Sunny did a great job listening to our wants/needs-he even gave us a CD of all of the songs we had requested prior to the wedding day! It was a nice, personal touch and I will treasure it. Sunny was professional and personable. He was able to get a feel for moment and determine what to play from there. If a song was requested by a guest that would totally kill the mood he would be honest and try to play it later when the mood was different. I was impressed and would recommend him to others.

Sunny Moon came to us highly recommended, and overall I was very happy with them. They played all the music I wanted, and kept the crowd very happy. The only bad thing is they are very pricy at $125 every add'l half hour, and only forecasting 3 hours of playing including prior to reception music.

My groom and I felt that Sunny Moon did not listen to our suggestions and our requests for the wedding. Sunny Moon asks his clients to give him a detailed list of what we wanted during the wedding, so we gave him a list of songs to use for our wedding reception and cocktail hour. They were not used. We asked for 40's style music for the cocktail hour, like Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald etc, and he played classic oldies. During the reception he asked us when we wanted to do the wish dance/money dance and then never did it. He didnt do the boquet toss or guarder toss either. During the cutting of the cake we asked him to play "Pour Some Sugar On Me" song, and instead played this cheesy "cut the cake" song. We also gave him a list of what we wanted played during the fun dancing time, and he only played 2 songs from that list, and instead played songs like the overplayed "baby got back". We got the vibe that Sunny just wanted to do things his way and really didnt listen to our requests even though he asked for them. It was definitely the one thing we were most disappointed about the day of our wedding. I would definitely recommend that people use someone else. When you first meet with him he seems great and that he is listening to you, however there were many things that we were disappointed with in his service.

Sunny was great. He stuck to our do not play list and I was happy! We even had guests come up to us after the event and talk about how great the DJ was. He kept everyone entertained and had people out on the dancefloor that I would have never imagined out there!

If any DJ was going to do your music for your reception, it's this guy. He does the music you want and wants you to be happy. He reads guests and plays the music they want to hear based on age and everything. He plays for everyone. He is amazing. He also DJs for all the major Indy events, such as the Indy 500 Festival. He's awesome.

I would reccomend Sunny Moon for any event needing a DJ. He was more than professional at our wedding reception, and we depended on him to run the show, which he did. He has a great voice, is involved in every part of the event, and knows how to get people out on the dance floor (and staying there!). I would give him a great reccomendation to anyone!

I highly recommend Sunny Moon!! He was absolutely amazing and kept our wedding reception dancing all night long- literally! Not only was that great, but after we gave him our direction for what we wanted him to do, he practically lead the reception from beginning to end- taking all the pressure off of us and our parents. Definately an A++

Sunny was fantastic. He listened to my husband and I wanted and stuck to it! He provided great entertainment for our guests, without the "cheesy" aspect that having a DJ can sometimes bring. I would highly recommend.
