The Bride to Be

The Bride to Be is one of the BEST places to get your wedding gown. The sister that own the shop are amazing. The second you walk into their shop they make you feel at home and help you with anything they can. I would definitely suggest this to be the first shop you stop at when looking for your wedding dress!

They were so friendly and helpful. They made you feel so special. I Loved the dress!

The Bride to Be is the best bridal salon I visited across 5 states (Indiana, Virginia, D.C., Maryland, and New York). The selection is varied but not overwhelming, you can view all the dresses, the staff is friendly and accommodating, orders and inquiries are handled promptly and correctly. I feeling in the shop is like a fairy tale - homey but chic, relaxing and elegant. It was a joy to deal with this vendor.

What an AMAZING store. The owners are amazing. They not only understood intuitively what I wanted and what would fit me, but their service was second to none. The only problem I had was with the alteration person they used and recommended to me. She was TERRIBLE. After my first dance, my bustle fell, she had the dress ready a month after she said she would, she couldn't seem to get the alterations right and overall, she just had her hands too full. Thank God for Kate--Kate fixed the side pieces of the bustle (which did not fall--unlike the main part of it which Vicki (I think?) did and which DID fall) and who evened out my beautiful dress prior to our big day. Additionally, she made a dress for my mother that was really hideous--she could not wear it. I'm really sorry to be so critical, but it's true!

Kate is so awesome! I actually stopped into her shop on my lunch hour, just to look and after talking with her for just a few mintues, she had me try on a dress that was on one of her maniquins. It fit my style, my ideas, my vision of my perfect wedding dress perfectlly. This store is great and everyone there made the exprience comfortable and something I will never forget.

Sarah and Kate were so pleasant to deal with. I had no worries regarding my attire or my bridesmaids'. They were prompt at returning phone calls. The boutique was extremely clean and very inviting. The Bride to Be carried beautiful lines of attire and accessories (the best that Fort Wayne has to offer). The lady who performed alterations for their shop is fantastic. She worked well under pressure and had a quick turn around. As you can see, I cannot say enough good things about The Bride to Be!

I would recommend any bride to go to the Bride to Be! Personal, caring service; excellent quality; exquisite taste; and fulfilled promises are just a few reasons to visit their store. I looked for a dress at numerous different locations, even going out of state and did not find a more quality place.

When it was time for me to shop for a wedding dress I heard an ad on the radio about a new bridal store opening in Fort Wayne, IN. It was "THE BRIDE TO BE"! From the moment I walked in, it was a stand out experience. I loved every minute of my experience there. I cannot say enough good things about Kate and Sarah (owners). They were exceptional to work with, very helpful and answered all of my questions professionally. They were kind, gracious and had excellent taste. Incredibly patient which really helped make this big decision a very easy one."THE BRIDE TO BE", was (and is) a VERY different experience. They have all of their dresses out on display. Such bliss! You can scan the styles and pick out the ones you want to try. You also have the run of the salon. They only take one appointment at a time which allows for the entire focus to be on you (isn't that the way it should be for any bride?) The Bride to Be has a wide selection of wedding dresses and will work with you in any way that they can. They even designed a necklace to go with my wedding dress to match exactly what I wanted. They were very helpful and extremely nice!

I absolutely LOVED Sarah and Kate at The Bride to Be. They were wonderful in helping me get the perfect dress that made me feel special and beautiful. They were also great in working with me to order all of the bridesmaids dresses which was made more difficult because my fabric was being discontinued and all the girls lived in different states. But they made it all work. The shop is beautiful, and their selection is great. I would recommend these ladies to anyone, they were the best to work with.
